E-Z Strut

E-Z Strut Seat Mounts eliminates the hassle of seat adjustments that take place in the shop and time consuming minutes at the track. With an infinite number of adjustment possibilites, E-Z Strut provides all the seat "tweaking" that a racer will need in order to provide just the right handling characteristics. Center Mount
Those chasis designs that have the front support arms (sliders) that attach to the front edge of the seat that slide through the center of the front mid-waist bar.

Top Mount
We refer to the top mount systems as those chasis designs that have the support arms (sliders) that attach to the front edge of the seat, mounted on the top of the front mid-waist bar.

The Racers Edition - Top Mount

The Racers Edition is our standard system. The front mount is designed with two aluminium sliders with beveled eyes to facilitate angle mounting and adjustment at the front edge of the seat. (See the E-Z Strut gallery for photographs of the Racers Edition.)

The Pro-Series - Top Mount ONLY

The Pro-Series has been designed with aluminum sliders and a steel rod end insert. The Pro-Series provides greater flexibility for the racer that wants to mount the seat at an angle to the chassis. (See the E-Z Strut gallery for photographs of the Pro-Series.)

The "L" Series - NEW!

The "L" Series is an enhanced design of the Pro Series. The rod ends have been oriented at a 90 degree angle. The advantage of the "L" series is that it allows the possibility of increased nose weight.

The Advanced Pro Series - Top Mount ONLY

The Advanced Pro-Series has the same design features as the Pro-Series. The design utilizes an aluminum slider, aluminum anodized rod end and has a weight reduction of approximately seven ounces. (See the E-Z Strut gallery for photographs of the Advanced Pro-Series.)

A standard seat mount is packaged with a four inch strut for the left rear and a five inch strut for the right rear. If your kart has different requirements please inform us at the time of purchase. (Seats that are designed with a low cut left side may require the installation of the two inch strut.)

It is possible to purchase separate components of the E-Z Strut system. Individual struts can be purchased for $11each or a set of two for $20.
